She is called Anna, she lives in Hana Mursi village, in Omo valley, Ethiopia. She is from Bodi tribe. She had all those scarifications when she was 14. Since last year she has became christian, so she wears the cross around her neck and most of the time a tshirt, apart when she has to cross the river to come back to her village..
She is the symbol of all the tribes i meet and who are changing so quick…for many different reasons. Her village has only 300 people, the government has settled a giant sugarcane factory, and plans to bring 100 000 people from all over the country in the next years.
I took this picture just at the entrance of her house, with natural light. everything is simple and works so good when the “model” is wonderful.
